The Curriculum Development Unit was established in April 2002. The inter-board youth panel, supported by the youth service partnership, secured funding from the Department of Education’s Executive Programme Fund for a two year period. This has been extended to March 2006.
The unit focuses its work in several areas, but significantly, it works across the youth work sector in partnership with a wide range of youth work organisations. We recognise and value the diversity and interdependence of the youth sector and respect the range of approaches used in the personal and social development of young people.
