Registration for Induction and Early Professional Development

Welcome to Registration for Induction and Early Professional Development.  It is compulsory that ALL Newly Qualified Teachers / Beginning Teachers participate in the Induction and Early Professional Development Programmes.
 
You are required to register EACH YEAR with (Northern Ireland) an Education and Library Board (ELB) whether you are in full-time employment, temporary employment, teaching on a day-to-day basis or not in post at the moment

Registration can be completed at any stage during the year but preferably before September or as soon as possible thereafter.

How to register

If you are permanently or in temporary employment please register with the Education and Library Board where the school you are teaching in resides.

If you are not in post you should either register with the board where:

• you would expect to do most of your temporary/daily substitute teaching
  or
  

• your home address resides.
  

As your employment circumstances may vary during the school year you will be expected to update the information on your online registration accordingly.
