The IDS will pay for up to two hours interpreting in a single session relating to:
- Initial parent/teacher interview
- Parent/teacher meetings (maximum 2 per year per pupil)
- Critical incidents
- Pastoral care issues
Special Circumstances
- If you have more than one child speaking the same language please ensure that all meetings are held within the one session.
- Payment may be made for interpreting sessions lasting more than two hours, but you MUST e-mail or fax the IDS BEFORE booking the interpreter. If your request for special consideration is not approved in advance of the session, you will not receive IDS funding.
