EMA for pupils 19 years of age or over on 1 July 2006
A parent may claim EMA in respect of a pupil who:-
has attained the age of 19 years;
is following a full time course at a grant-aided school or institution of further education;
has not been awarded under the provisions of Article 50 or 51 of the Order any other award which includes provision for his maintenance;
and is ordinarily resident in its area
