Welcome to Education Support for Northern Ireland

Welcome to Education Support for Northern Ireland web site covering information for the five Education and Library Boards in Northern Ireland. Working with the Inclusion and Diversity Service (IDS) the site has been updated to include content translated in various languages.

The English part of the site covers the areas of Parents, Students, Teachers and Youth while the other languages contain parental information only.

Teachers, Inclusion and Diversity Service (IDS)
The Inclusion and Diversity Service (IDS) is an amalgimation of the previous EAL / Ethnic Minority Teams from the Education and Library Boards. We support schools in providing for the needs of pupils and parents for whom English is not the first language.
Post-Primary Enrolment
Parents who wish to enrol their child in post-primary education (11-18 age) in Northern Ireland.
Primary Admissions
Parents who wish to enrol their child in primary school education (4-11 age) in Northern Ireland.
Pre-School
Parents who wish to enrol their child in pre-school education (2-4 age) in Northern Ireland.
